About Akeru Bot

Akeru Bot is an open-source desktop and web application for people who work with coding agents. Each bot has its own instructions, tools, plugins, and long-term memory. A user can run several bots in one workspace while keeping each bot's setup separate. Akeru Bot runs on the user's own Claude, Codex, Grok, Kimi, or OpenCode access instead of selling model usage.

The project is an independent fork of T3 Code. The Akeru Bot maintainers maintain this fork in public under the MIT License. The source, issue tracker, release history, and contribution guide are available in theAkeru Bot GitHub repository. The repository also contains user documentation for installation, bot profiles, plugins, remote access, and security behavior.

How it works

A local server connects the desktop, web, and mobile clients to supported coding-agent providers. Users can keep work on their own machine, connect over their own network, or run a bot inside a cloud sandbox. The app stores project threads and bot memory in the environment that the user controls. Optional hosted services have separate privacy terms and only process data needed for the feature that the user enables.

Akeru Bot accepts public contributions and publishes its implementation decisions in the same repository as the product. Read the user documentationto install the app, or use the repository issue tracker to report a product defect.
